About the artist

Robert Nippoldt (*1977) is not only a draftsman and book artist, but also an entertainer - with a soft spot for the 1920s. In his graphics and books he brings scenes of jazz music and pulsating metropolises such as Berlin, New York and Hollywood to life. His pictures have appeared in The New Yorker and TIME Magazine, among others, and have received numerous international awards.
