RETURN
We want you to be 100% satisfied and thrilled with your artwork. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the artwork within 14 days of receiving the shipment. To do this, it is necessary to revoke the contract by post or email.
It is very important that you return the print in the original packaging and in undamaged condition via the original shipping company. Make sure you declare the return as a "Return of Goods" as this is the easiest way to get the goods back to us without paying import taxes and duties.
If you cancel your contract, Robert Nippoldt will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including the original delivery costs. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
If you have any questions, please email us at shop@nippoldt.de
HANDLING AND STORING PAPER
Before unpacking the paper, wash your hands thoroughly or put on cotton or surgical gloves before touching the paper (the oils and contaminants on your hands will attack the print and leave marks on the paper). Always lift the print at opposite corners so that the print bulges a little in the middle. Be careful when lifting as the prints are prone to crescent folds. Try not to touch the image area of the print.
We recommend framing the prints as soon as possible. Storing art prints in frames is always the safest option. If you have to store loose prints, always store them unrolled in a horizontal position, preferably wrapped in tissue paper. Two art prints should never be stored directly on top of each other. If you must stack them, try separating them with a clean sheet of paper. Protect the art prints from smoke, fumes, contact or other harmful influences.
UNPACKING
Once you receive the print, please check that everything arrived in good condition. If the package was damaged during transport, please inform us immediately and take photos to document the damage. If you wait too long to contact us, your insurance claim will expire.
Only unpack your artwork on a clean surface, such as a large table or carpet, to avoid scratches or creases. If your print is delivered in a roll, we strongly recommend unpacking the artwork as soon as possible or at least storing it for no longer than 7 days. To do this, open both plastic lids of the roll and carefully peel off the masking tape that fixes the print in the roll. Then carefully pull out the rolled-up screen print wrapped in tissue paper. Place it on the table and unroll it - let it unfold slowly.
PACKAGING
Each piece of art is individually and securely packaged with multiple layers of protection. Large format prints are packed rolled into sturdy cardboard tubes, small prints and drawings are shipped flat and protected by very sturdy boards or cardboard.
